Try this recipe for easy peel boiled eggs.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Sprinkle with salt. Add desired amount of eggs, but make sure the water covers the top by 1 inch. Do not add eggs to water before it boils. Let eggs boil for 1 minute. Turn burner to it’s lowest setting and let the eggs simmer for 12 minutes. Remove the eggs and gently tap them to make a small crack then immediately put them into a bowl of very cold water. Keep in cold water for 15 minutes.

The tricks here to get perfect boiled eggs that easily peel is to add the eggs to boiling water from the start, and also to shock them in cold water for 15 minutes at the end. When you are ready to peel your eggs, begin at the larger end of the air – since that is where the air pocket is.

* Tip: Older eggs are easier to peel. If you can plan ahead, use eggs that have been in your fridge for a week or longer. Always use chilled eggs.

* Tip: If you struggle, try peeling them in the bowl of cold water, or under running cold water for perfect boiled eggs!
